Quick Brandy Cocktails

Bringing together a few brandy cocktails for you to try. Enjoy!

Brandy Highball

• 2 oz brandy
• Soda water

Fill a highball glass with crushed ice. Pour in the brandy and top with soda water. Stir together. Garnish with a slice of lemon.

Horse's Neck
The name of this cocktail is derived from the 'mane' of lemon peel.

• 1 lemon
• 2 oz brandy
• 8 oz ginger ale

Peel the lemon trying to keep the peel in one piece to form a spiral. Place this in a highball glass with one end hanging just over the lip of the glass. Put some ice cubes in the glass and add the brandy and ginger ale. Stir before serving.

Minty Snowball
(for one drink, allow ¾ oz of each)

• 1 part brandy
• 1 part peppermint schnapps
• 1 part white crème de cacao

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the brandy, schnapps and crème de cacao. Shake well. Strain into a shot glass.

Burnt Orange
A very grown-up drink

• 2 parts Amaretto
• 2 parts Cointreau
• 1 part brandy
• Double cream
• Cocoa powder

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the Amaretto, Cointreau and brandy. Shake well then strain into cocktail glasses. Top with lightly whipped double cream and a sprinkling of cocoa powder.
